The life cycle of the switchgear is normally between 20 - 30 years dependent of the environment and operation of the installation . Life time can easily be extended by performing a good maintenance program and by upgrades and replacement of the electrical components during the life time. The switchgear structure can remain the same for another 15 to 20 years .
With MNSiS, the newest Low Voltage Switchgear Technology from ABB, we are also able to offer continuous condition monitoring of the switchgear.
This is a system for monitoring the “health” of the switchgear and will watch the condition continuously. Problems witch occurs inside the switchgear or in the field will be discovered and can be fixed before breakdown.

LCM is a set of capabilities that enable an enterprise to effectively and efficiently innovate and manage its products and related services throughout the entire business lifecycle.
